The production of Maraska Nocelino Chocolate starts with the harvest of selected green walnuts from the area of the Dalmatian coast (south Croatia/ Adriatic coast). The walnuts undergo a maceration to extract flavor and it is then infused with natural chocolate. No artificial coloring or flavorings are used in the product.
The green walnut base gives a slightly bitter taste that is perfectly balanced by the decadent flavor of chocolate. Nocelino Chocolate’s versatile flavor profile makes it enjoyable to drink on its own, mixed with cream or as a modifier in cocktails. Mixed with whiskey in place of simple syrup it makes a delicious twist on an Old Fashioned.
